The Crazy Beagle is Happy the Heatwave Has Stopped!

SonicinIce01 300x229 The Crazy Beagle is Happy the Heatwave Has Stopped!Hooray! This beagle is happy that the heatwave has stopped (for now)! For the past five days of the heatwave, we have been experiencing near or over 100 degree weather and it has been driving this beagle crazy. Thank goodness our air conditioner has been holding up and keeping us cool during the heatwave. I hate to see my owner’s face when the bill is delivered.

Thank goodness the weather broke today. It was only 81 degrees today and just perfect for this old dog. Friday is suppose to be more of the same beautiful weather.  Heatwave, stay far away for a while!

Yard Safety Tips for Dogs from the Crazy Beagle

treebranch01 Yard Safety Tips for Dogs from the Crazy BeagleIt’s Tuesday and a beautiful day to go out in the yard the play. Remember, there are several possible hazards that can create problems for your dog. Here are some pet safety tips for making your yard safe for your dog and pets:

  • Fertilizer in grass (If your dog is prone to eating grass)
  • Limbs falling off poorly maintained trees (This limb almost wiped me out!)
  • Sharp nails or wires on fencing
  • Loose fence boards or areas where pets can sneak out, around or under
  • Trash tossed or blown into the yard that may be chewed on or ingested
  • Improperly stored toxins such as rodenticide, slug bait, fertilizer or antifreeze

Make your yard as safe as possible for your pet and especially for us dogs.

The Crazy Beagle Wishes You a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of the lads and lassies! I hope you have a fun-filled day.

While you may be drinking beer in moderation, remember your pet dogs can not do the same. Please do not give alcoholic beer to your dogs. Beer, if drank in even a small portion, can cause your dog to exhibit bizarre behavior or poison your pet. You may give your dogs alcohol free beer.

Otherwise, be safe, have fun, and enjoy St. Patrick’s Day! Please enjoy the following St. Patrick’s Day funny video.
