Dog Days of Summer Are Here!
Why do we dogs get the blame for the hot, humid days of summer? You don’t hear any one saying the “cat days of summer,” do you? It’s 95 degrees outside with a heat index of 110 degrees. It has been the hotest summer ever. Who says we are not experiencing climate change. Thank goodness I am an indoor beagle.
Stay cool and drink plenty of water!
Saying Thank Yon on Thank You Day
As much trouble as my owners give me on a daily basis, I much take this opportunity to say thank you on August 12th, Thank You Day. The following is what I must say thank you for:
- Thank you for choosing me as your pet at the ASCPA
- Thank you for putting up with my loud beagle barking
- Thank you for allowing me to be an inside dog (I love air conditioning and heat)
- Thank you for taking me to my medical appointments even though I bark almost the whole time there
- Thank you for providing me with two meals and plenty of water each day
- Thank you for giving me my meds in a timely fashion (sometimes every dog needs a little pick me up)
- Thank you for forgiving me when I make a little mistake on the rug
- Thank you for my daily walks
- Thank you for not giving up on me.
Now that I gave my thanks, let me go back to being Sonic the Crazy Beagle.
I Fear This More than Thunderstorms
The one thing I fear more than thunderstorms is…vacuum cleaners. When I hear that hurling, humming noise and see that back-and-forth motion I run the other way.I know things disappear and are never seen again once the vacuum cleaner comes out. I could swear my dog biscuit disappeared after the vacuum cleaner came out. I might be next.
Stay Tune!
