It was a great weekend for the dogs. In the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament this weekend, the Butler Bulldogs defeated the Florida Gators, 74-71 in overtime. Also, the University of Connecticut Huskies defeated the Arizona Wildcats (duh! Cats are always wild), 65-63. Both of these games were nail biters that went down to the final buzzer in each game. In both games, we dogs gave the other teams a licking and won the game.

I regret to say that the Connecticut Huskies will now play the Butler Bulldogs in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament semi final on April 2nd. Needless to say, it will be a real dogfight. Each team will be establishing its territory on the court and sniffing out the weaknesses of the other team. It is the matter of which dog will have the bigger bite.

I am just hoping for an entertaining, well-played game. Go UCONN Huskies and Butler Bulldogs!

It’s that time again!  It’s March, it’s madness, and it’s the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament.  You know with the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament there are upsets and disappointments.

It was a good day for bulldogs in the tournament.  I am glad my fellow bulldogs of Gonzaga won against the St. John’s Red Storm (what is a red storm?), 86-71.  This Crazy Beagle is sad because St. John’s is back and I am a New York dog.  Congratulations to St. John’s for a great comeback year and I am wishing an even better year for St. John’s for next year.

Also, the Butler Bulldogs beat my Old Dominion Monarchs at the buzzer, 60-58.  Ouch!!!  That one hurt since I am a transplanted New York dog living in Hampton Roads.

 In the meantime, we dogs need to support each other during the tournament.  I wish the bulldogs and rest of the dog mascots in the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament the best of luck.  Just like the Crazy Beagle, bark, get crazy, and make some noise.

While you may be drinking beer in moderation, remember your pet dogs can not do the same. Please do not give alcoholic beer to your dogs. Beer, if drank in even a small portion, can cause your dog to exhibit bizarre behavior or poison your pet. You may give your dogs alcohol free beer.

I hate spam! I hate the type of spam I receive on a daily basis. I receive on a daily basis over fifty worthless spam messages. I am an eight-year-old neutered dog and I receive the following spam comments on my blog:

• How to pick up a “cougar” (I take it they are not talking about the four-legged animal)
• Web cam girls
• Want to be bigger? (I have to have something to grow)

Really? Let me remind you:  I am a neutered dog.  You spammers are killing me. I could only wish. Stop the spam and stop torturing me!

What has been your experience with spam? (I will probably recieve spam with this posting and question)
