First the Westminster Dog Show excluded beagles from their top ten placement list.  Now I was reading the AKC’s List of most popular dogs in 2010 and I felt a little better.  At least we beagles made it to number four.  Here is the AKC list of most popular dogs:

1. Labrador Retriever
2. German Shepherd
3. Yorkshire Terrier
4. Beagle
5. Golden Retriever
6. Bulldog
7. Boxer
8. Dachshund
9. Poodle
10. Shih Tzu

Take that bulldog (I am not scared of you!), take that Shih Tzu (get the hair out of your eyes!), take that Dachshund (I heard my owners talking about how cute our neighbor’s Dachshund), take that Boxer (I will fight you any time), take that Golden Retriever (go out and retrieve something), and finally take that Poodle (don’t be cute with me).

This Crazy Beagle thought that we beagles should be higher on the list but we will take what we can get.
