January 22nd is “Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day.” Who would believe that my feline friends, and I say that loosely, would have a holiday.

How about a holiday called “Answer Your Dog’s Questions About Cats Day?” With some of the questions this Crazy Beagle would ask are the following:

• Why do cats exist?
• Why are cat villains so sexy, e.g. Catwoman?
• Why is cat food so small and classy and dog food so big and chunky?
• Why are women associated with cats and men associated with men?
• Why do cats act like the victim when dogs try to protect their territory?
• Why do black cats have the power to create bad luck with crossing in front of someone?

I have many more questions but this beagle needs to get crazy for the day!

January 21st is National Hugging Day. Have you taken the time to hug your pet today? If not, show us dogs, beagles, and other pets a little love and give us a hug of appreciation.

Why you ask? The following are seven reasons why you should hug your pet today:

1. When no one is seems to care about you, we always can put a smile on your face
2. We will lick your face when nobody else will
3. Us dogs keep you healthy by taking you out for a walk
4. Even after we stiff you and smell you have been with another dog, we will remain loyal to you
5. Your pet, in most cases, will protect you when needed
6. We are a part of the family
7. For single guys, us dogs are “chick magnets” (lets see those cats do the same for their owners)

So you see, there are many reasons why you need to give your dog, beagle, and pet a hug. Even Crazy Beagles need a little love sometimes.

Not many of you know that this beagle was the hero in Star Wars: A New Hope. Due to commercial concerns I was edited out of the final version. Here is the original version of the Star Wars film:

This Crazy Beagle is dashing, am I not?

This crazy beagle is one sad puppy. After six weeks robust walks, relaxing baths, neck and belly rubs, and sleeping at the feet of the “little gal,” she is gone. She finally went back to college for the Spring semester. She always spoils me when she comes home. No matter how exhausted she is after returning from work, she always finds time to give me a walk or a rub.

Now it’s back to begging. This beagle is not saying that my owners don’t like and care for me (I know which side the peanut butter is on my bone), but it is just not the same as when the “little gal” is here. I am now on their schedule and at their mercy.

Well this dog can’t wait for the “little gal’s” February or Spring Break visit!

The store manager behind the customer service counter looks up, notices the customer is blind, and quickly looks away again.

Out of the corner of his eye he sees the blind man start swinging the dog over his head with its leash.

Shocked, the manager runs over and says, “Mister, is there a problem – is there something I can help you with?” The blind man calmly replies, “No thanks – I’m just looking around.”
