The National Census Needs to Make Every Dog Count!

Census Form 01 The National Census Needs to Make Every Dog Count! The  U.S. Dept. of Commerce asks that every person fill out the 2010 National Census form so that everyone is counted and can receive the necessary services in the correct areas.  For example, when filling out the Census form, the government can predict what hospitals, police stations, highways, etc. a community might need.

Well, that’s fine for our owners, but what about us dogs?  I think there should be a Census form for us beagles.  That way the government will know if we need dog parks, pet spas, pet food stores, walking paths, etc.

Now there is an answer!  Take the Mutt Census.  Go to http://www.muttcensus.com/ and have fun filling out this census so that all of us dogs can benefit.  Maybe I can get a pet spa next to my house.  We beagles can dream, can’t we?

National Puppy Day: A Day of Remembrance for the Crazy Beagle

Puppy01 National Puppy Day: A Day of Remembrance for the Crazy BeagleToday, March 23rd, is National Puppy Day.  I don’t know who declared it, but it was declared so I am going to enjoy it.  I am doing what I do best, sleep, and my owner just gave me a delicious meal with freshly cook chicken breast bits.  Yum, Yum!

I remember when I was a puppy.  I remember when I was first bought home from the shelter and was so excited that I urinated on the floor to show my appreciation.  Then I continued to show my appreciation until they house trained me.

I also had an oral fixation.  Anything I could get my mouth on was chewed:  window sills, chairs, baseboards, sneakers, etc.  If it was in reach, this Crazy Beagle would chew it.  This dog understood what side his bone is butter on and I quickly got over that.

Also as a puppy, I would like to escape on my walks and give my owners anxiety attacks.  Well, as I grew older, I realize that my heart is where the home is and this dog stopped escaping and just enjoyed the walks.

So, all you dog and beagle owners out there please take the time to pet your dogs on the head and give them a little treat for all the joy your dogs give to you.

NIT Results: Another Tough Day for Us Dogs as UCONN Huskies Loses

UConn Huskies01 NIT Results: Another Tough Day for Us Dogs as UCONN Huskies LosesIt was not only March Madness for us dogs in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, but it now tough for us dogs in the NIT Tournament. The Virginia Tech Hokies (Hokies are turkeys) just defeated the Connecticut Huskies, 64-63. Again, I say you can’t send a huskie to do a beagle’s work.

Us beagles need to start our own university and make the mascot the “Crazy Beagles” or “Fighting Beagles.” Hey, I really like that.

March Madness: Another Tough Day for Us Dogs

GonzagaBulldog March Madness: Another Tough Day for Us DogsMarch Madness continues and it is another tough day for us dogs! The Syracuse Orangemen just whipped the Gonzaga Bulldogs 87-65. Another dog goes down in defeat.  It just goes to show that you don’t send a bulldog to do a beagle’s job.

Which brings me to this question, “Are there any universities with beagles as mascots?” How about the University of North Carolina Crazy Beagles?  This would give an image of crazed players who would annoy any team.

Go March Madness and this dog will continue to keep you posted on the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament!

March Madness Continues! Kansas is Beaten

March Madness continues! The Northern Iowa University Panthers (I hate it when a cat wins) upsets the Kansas University Jayhawks (don’t let a hawk do the work of a dog). This is one disappointed beagle.  There goes my prediction for the champion of the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
